The Plan of Salvation
Understanding God's path to eternal life is the most important journey you will ever take. Discover the steps to finding peace, purpose, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through His amazing grace.
God Loves You
God’s love for you is unconditional and everlasting. As John 3:16 tells us, He loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life. This is the foundation of our hope and the message we share at Dalzell Baptist Church.
The Reality of Sin
We all fall short of God’s perfect standard. Romans 3:23 reminds us that 'all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' This sin creates a barrier between us and our Creator, leading to spiritual separation that we cannot bridge on our own efforts. Acknowledging this reality is the first step toward finding true peace and reconciliation with Christ.
Jesus Paid the Debt
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived a perfect life and took the punishment we deserved on the cross, rising again to offer us eternal life.
Finding Life in Christ
Receiving God's gift of salvation is a personal decision to trust in Jesus Christ alone. You can speak to Him right now in your own words or use this simple prayer: 'Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me, come into my heart, and lead my life. Amen.' If you just prayed this prayer, we would love to rejoice with you and help you grow—please let us know by contacting us today.
God promises: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
